Family Company is a Los Angeles–based soul collective built around the trio of Alex Kyhn (bass), Josh Teitelbaum (drums), and Jason Goldstein (keys), three in-demand session musicians who found, in playing together, the makings of original music. Rooted in the deep traditions of soul, R&B, and funk, the band writes songs that channel the warmth and groove of the genre’s greats while carving out a sound that is unmistakably their own.

Since forming, Family Company has built a steadily growing catalog of records alongside a stream of singles and collaborative releases. Each project leans into the band’s core musicianship while inviting a rotating cast of vocalists and players into the fold, a hallmark of the Family Company sound.

The band’s collaborative, session-rooted approach has put them on stages and in studios alongside artists including Jennifer Hudson, David Ryan Harris, Louis Cato, Cory Henry, Judith Hill, Theo Katzman, Nigel Hall, GoldFord, and Shea Givens.

Equal parts band and musical collective, Family Company plays with the chemistry of a group of friends and the chops of seasoned session players.
